A major redevelopment of Gurnell Leisure Centre is due to start sometime towards the end of 2019

 

As part of this work, Gurnell Skatepark will be demolished, to be replaced by a new skatepark on another part of the site

 

ESA are liasing with the Council and developers to ensure that the time without a skatepark at Gurnell is kept to a minimum

 

The wooden mini-ramp will remain at Gurnell, on another part of the site

 

ESA have been assured that the replacement skatepark will be at least the same size and we will be working with specialist builders to ensure that Gurnell's most popular features are replicated in the new design
